Born in Vietnam, Duy Huynh's family came to the United States as refugees in 1981. At the time, they were commonly referred to as “boat people”, a moniker that he's often drawn inspiration from. More importantly for a kid that felt like an outcast, drawing became a means of transcending language barriers and cultivating connections. It's important to him that his work is accessible and far-reaching. FAC is proud to collaborate with Duy to bring his artwork to the global community.
