For artist Morgan Harrington a love of painting the surroundings from her rural upbringing gives her joy. Ms. Harrington grew up with an inherent desire to create and paint, seemingly the trait of many successful artists. The artist's most prominent advocate was her artistically inclined grandmother, who urged her to be a bit chaotic when exploring mediums and possible techniques. As an adult, Morgan completed a degree in art education with a focus on painting and pottery.

Modern Barn

A solid faith, living life in rural Tennessee with her husband, three children, and their Boston Terrier play a significant role in Morgan's life successes. There is a representation of the local churches and barns in her works, as seen in the canvas print Southern Church.
